For FFO Home Furnishings I took a 2D character design from Tim Blair and turned it into a fully-rigged 3D character using Blender. We suppplied several little keyable animations to the ad agency, which they peppered throughout 21 spots. The character was animated by Phil Robinson, Tim Blair and myself for Special Agent Productions.

Hunter's face is full of tons of controls to animate his snout, jowls, tongue, ears, jaw and eyes, plus a layer of squishing deformers to really soften him up!
Extra challenges with the body was to create a rig that could function as both a quadruped and biped character, sometimes within the same shot. This involved a bunch of blendshapes and sliders that adjusted his proportions.
