I released Squirrel - The Layer Tree Browser in early 2018 as my first licensed extension. For years After Effects users have wished for an easy way to view their layer hierarchies to manage the many layers that they work with. This became even more important with the increased use of After Effects as a character animation tool. Squirrel is a panel that reads your timeline and all its layer parenting relationships and quickly converts it into an interactive treeview.
